In this author’s humble opinion, in this locale walks just do not get any better that this. True there are no lofty ‘mountain’ peaks but if your inkling is for water we have not one but three reservoirs, six summits, the ruins of numerous farmsteads, the risings of two rivers and more scenery than at which, if  one so desired, could possibly shake a stick! Further to this, it is possible to perform a circuit of this fantastic route in virtually all weathers without getting lost.
